CONSTITUTIONAL DUTIES
OF THE NATIONAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The National Board of Trustees shall hold in trust... property committed to it by the General Board, Board of Directors, and General Assembly;

The National Board of Trustees shall hold in trust... any assets which shall become property of the church, either by gift, deed, will or otherwise;

The National Board of Trustees shall preserve, protect, secure, and maintain all property of the church;

The National Board of Trustees shall determine and approve the budgetary needs of all national departments, units, auxiliaries, conventions, and operations of the church;

The National Board of Trustees shall have the right and power to employ a maintenance superintendent and custodial staff (under its supervision) to look after, maintain, preserve and protect the National Offices, buildings, and grounds of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

The National Board of Trustees shall review and monitor all accounting transactions and professional contracts that affect the budget.
